Colonial Life Arena is home to three-time NCAA Women’s Basketball National Champion. Under head coach Dawn Staley, South Carolina has become one of the most feared home courts in the nation.

The Gamecocks have led the nation in attendance the last 11 seasons and now have nine SEC Championships since winning their first in 2013-14. They have gone undefeated at home six times in the last 13 seasons and in four of the last five campaigns. In 18 seasons under Staley, South Carolina has featured two National Players of the Year, two National Defensive Players of the Year, the National Freshman of the Year, 16 All-Americans, three SEC Players of the Year, four SEC Defensive Players of the Year and 27 All-SEC players. 

The Gamecocks have hosted NCAA Tournament games at Colonial Life Arena since 2015 in addition to regular-season meetings with nationally recognized programs, including 13 sellout crowds of 18,000 fans in the last three seasons.
