Q. How many people do we need in our group to qualify for the group discount? A. Typically, groups of 15 or more. Can vary by event.
Q. What age does a child need to be to be admitted free? A. For most shows, children under 2 yrs of age are admitted free. Please check with Group Sales (grpsls@gwm.sc.edu) for exact show information.
Q. How much is parking? A. Parking is $5-12 per car. You can purchase parking passes for the Dept. of Transportation garage (located at Lincoln and College Streets) from the group sales department or box office for $7 or $12 per space (dpends on the event). You can also pay $5-12 cash per space for all other parking lots on the day of event (these lots are not run by the Colonial Life Arena).
Q. When should we arrive for the show? A. Doors typically open one hour prior to the event, so you can arrive any time after that.
Q. What is the deadline for ordering group tickets? A. All group tickets must be ordered no later than 48 hours before the event. Please keep in mind that our office hours are 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday. If you call after these hours, leave a message and we will contact you during the next business day.
Q. How will we receive our group tickets after we order them? A.Group tickets will be mailed to you unless you request them to be left at will-call (your tickets will be available for pick-up 48 hours after you place your order). Will-call is open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm.
Q. Is there food and drink available to purchase during the event? A. Concession stands are always open during group events.
Q. How do we pay for our group ticket order? A. Group orders can be paid for with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover Card, cash, check or money order. Purchase orders are not accepted.
Q. Do you offer box lunches? A. Box lunches are available upon request—your box lunch order can be placed at the time you order your group tickets.
Q. Can I fax in my group order? A. Group orders can be faxed in to Group Sales at the Colonial Life Arena at 803-576-9299.

Q. What if I don’t have enough to make a group? How can I still order tickets? A. All non-group tickets (15 or less) can be purchased in person at the Colonial Life Arena box office, via charge-by-phone by calling at 1-866-472-8499, online at www.thecolonialcenter.com or at Columbia and Lextington-area Play It Again Sports locations.
Q. Do you have school shows? A. Throughout the year the Group Sales Department helps to plan many special school related and educational programs. The circus and Disney on Ice have school shows. Many of these occur within the school day and can serve as a great out of the classroom experience. In addition, USC Men’s and Women’s basketball games serve as great family nights for schools to promote community and family fun.

Q. When do I pay? A. Once you reserve tickets, you will receive a confirmation via email, fax or mail. This confirmation will have your payment deadline. Payment for most events is two weeks prior to opening night.
Q. Can I cancel my order? A. You can cancel reserve orders. Once tickets are paid for, they are not refundable or exchangeable.
Q. Can I add to my order? A. Groups may add to their original order one time with a minimum of 5 tickets. The additional seating will be selected as close as possible to the original order. Additional orders must be placed 48 hours prior to the date of the show.
Q. What if I lose my tickets? A. Lost tickets can not be reprinted prior to your show date. Call Group Sales if this occurs.
Q. Do you have Accessible Seating? A. Colonial Life Arena Group Sales Representatives are able to reserve accessible seating for Colonial Life Afrena events.
Q. Can I pay for my tickets in person? A. Group Sales orders can be placed at the Colonial Life Arena by calling the Group Sales line at 803-576-9078 and making an appointment and completing a Walk-In form.
Q. Are there extra fees on group sales orders? A. All Colonial Life Arena group ticket orders include a $3 - $5 handling fee. This handling fee is per order, NOT per ticket.
Q. If I add on to an order, do I still have to pay the handling fee? A. Yes. Every time an order is placed (even if it is an addition to a previous order) the $5 will be charged if the ticket order is more than 15 tickets. If it is less, it's $3 per order.
Q. Can I come to the Colonial Life Arena the day of an event, purchase my group tickets and still receive the group discount? A. No. Group ticket orders CAN NOT be placed the day of the show. All ticket orders must be placed and paid for within 48 hours in advance of the show in order to receive the discount ticket price.
Q. Do you sell group tickets for concerts? A. For most major concerts, group tickets are not available. You can contact the Colonial Life Arena phone center 1-866-472-8499 to place your concert ticket orders. However, we do have Entertainment Suite packages (including tickets and catering) available for select concerts. These suites hold a minimum of 36 people and a maximum of 50. Q. Can I find out my seat location when I place my order? A. When a group order is placed, tickets are put on hold in select areas of the arena; however, no tickets will be pulled, printed or mailed until the order is paid in full.
Q. We’re coming on a bus. Does our bus driver get in for free? A. There are no complimentary tickets for bus drivers.
Q. Where do we park our bus? A. Please discuss this in advance with your group events representative, as it may vary with each show.
